Hailing from Coweta, Oklahoma, Emily Hollingshed has been enchanting audiences with her voice since she was a toddler. Emily started performing publicly at a very young age, notably at Coweta's Fall Festival and in church services, showcasing her natural talent.
At just 16, Emily began performing acoustic sets across Oklahoma and neighboring states, quickly gaining recognition. She achieved notable success by placing second in a Battle of the Bands at Tumbleweeds in Stillwater, OK, which led to an opening slot at the Calf Fry Festival where she shared the stage with artists like Dylan Wheeler, Treaty Oak Revival, and Giovanni and the Hired Guns. In 2024, Emily's career flourished as she performed at several festivals including Ft. Gibson's Bicentennial Festival, Wagoner Summer Fest, Coweta Fall Festival, and the Rogers County Fair. She also organized her own event, "Homegrown" in Coweta, which highlighted other Oklahoma talents. Her performance at the Vanguard in Tulsa was so well-received that she was invited back for another show. The highlight of her year was recording her debut album at the iconic Church Studio in Tulsa. Committed to authenticity, Emily opted for live takes to capture the essence of her live performances. She concluded 2024 with a memorable show at the historic Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa, playing to a large, enthusiastic crowd.
