MATT KOZIOL
New Jersey native Matt Koziol is reminiscent of a barrel-aged bourbon that’s been hiding away in a discerning collector’s personal vault, saved for the perfect occasion with only the closest of friends. From the first sip, Koziol’s voice cuts through and you know you’re in for a treat. Like only the best bourbons, his music and persona have been distilled and drip with tradition, authenticity, and quality.
Koziol has built a career and put in his 10,000+ hours as a collaborator—co-writer, sideman, producer. But in May of 2022, he made his official Nashville debut with Wildhorse—the debut album released via RED Creative Group. When you ask him, he’ll say the rest has been a blur. Since then, his team has grown to include CAA (booking) and WHY&HOW (co-management).
The album, produced by Matthew Odmark (original member of Jars of Clay), opened up doors that Koziol never dreamed up for himself. The album’s first single, “Work All Day,” was featured in Netflix’s ‘Mo,’ garnering praise from Brooklyn Vegan, WMOT, and more. He’s also been busy on the road, sharing the stage with Whiskey Myers, 49 Winchester, Jordan Davis, Maren Morris, and Hailey Whitters to name a few.
The deluxe version of Koziol’s debut album, Wildhorse (Barrel Aged), is due March
2023—including three new tracks: “Work All Day” featuring Drake White, “Loving You Loving Me” featuring ZZ Ward, and “My Love from the Road.” He’ll be supporting Whiskey Myers for their 2023 tour, in addition to festival appearances and more.
